[GIVEAWAY] Family VIP Pass to North Pole BC

The Daddy Blogger family loves Christmas – it’s our favorite holiday of the year mainly because of the abundance of family-friendly activities happening during the holiday season. One of our favorite annual traditions is a visit to North Pole BC! We went last year when it was at Maplewood Farm and returned this year at their brand new indoor location at Lynn Valley Centre. With so many Christmas events in Vancouver, what makes us want to return to North Pole BC? A few reasons: one, it’s unique. Two, it’s warm. Three, it’s fun & family-friendly!

It was good to see a few familiar faces including Santa Wayne, Mrs Claus, & various Elves who have returned for another season plus quite a few new activities including Gingerbread Making, Sleigh Riding School, and the Toy Inventor. We absolutely loved The Toy Inventor – he is a former school teacher & actor and it shows in his passion for showing the latest invention to the kids. Plus, they have falling slow, a Christmas lights display, and even a Christmas train ($2 extra since it is technically part of the mall)!

One of the reasons we love coming back to North Pole BC is their focus on simplifying, de-commercializing, and keeping the magic of Christmas alive in the hearts and minds of children (and even adults who love the magical nature surrounding the Christmas season). As opposed to the long line-ups to see the Mall Santa, you can have a private, intimate one-on-one time with Santa at his home in North Pole BC – you even get a 8X10 picture to take home as a souvenir of your visit. The meet & greet with Santa is definitely one of the highlights of this memorable and magical family event.

It was a nice change to be indoor as we avoided the rain, the snow, the dark, and the cold. Plus, we could just let our daughter run around without worrying what trouble she may end up in. Of course, we miss the live animals but the warm, cosy atmosphere of North Pole BC as well as the numerous activities making this a memorable family adventure. After taking your kids to North Pole BC, I’m sure your whole family will want to return year after year! We look forward to Rianne and Ryan both attending together next year!
